Greetings! Your latest quick tech update is here:

☀️ On this day: On February 20, 1947, computer pioneer Alan Turing presented a lecture to the London Mathematical Society in which he proposed using the game of chess as a way to test artificial intelligence. Turing outlined how a machine could follow logical rules to evaluate moves, suggesting that a properly programmed computer might one day rival human players. Although the hardware of the time was not advanced enough to run such a program, his concept became one of the earliest foundations of AI research and computer chess.
