The shares were priced at $28 each, raising about $61 million in a single day. 🥑 Meta delays Avocado AI model after performance concerns ↗️LINK

  • Meta postponed the launch of its new AI model, Avocado, after internal tests showed it lagging behind leading systems from Google and OpenAI.

  • While Avocado reportedly outperforms Meta’s previous models and Google’s Gemini 2.5, it could not match the capabilities of Gemini 3, prompting the delay until May or June.

💻 Musk reveals Tesla–xAI project Macrohard ↗️LINK

  • Elon Musk introduced Macrohard, a joint project between Tesla and xAI that combines the Grok language model with a Tesla-built AI agent designed to emulate the functions of entire software companies.

  • The system, also called Digital Optimus, analyzes real-time computer screen video and keyboard or mouse activity, running on Tesla’s AI4 chip alongside Nvidia-powered xAI servers.

  • The announcement follows Tesla’s January deal to invest about $2 billion in xAI shares, highlighting the growing collaboration between Musk’s companies as his net worth surpasses $800 billion.
